Hear from our founders!
We recently sat down with Agency Podcast host Brad Yale and our friends at y’all to talk about the current and future state of the agency business, digital content, and healthcare field.
Elizabeth Yi, PhD
Founding Partner and Scientific Strategy LadyFollowing exhaustive research, we’ve yet to find an area of science that Elizabeth doesn’t get excited about. She loves to dig in deep and is continually inspired by the promise of learning something new. Elizabeth particularly enjoys creating disease state awareness campaigns and scientific platforms and has launched brands across multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, osteoporosis, Parkinson’s disease, hemophilia and other rare diseases, and animal health.
Trained in molecular biology at UCLA, Elizabeth worked in the Global Medical Affairs group at Baxter BioScience before joining the glamorous world of healthcare marketing, where she spent 15 years building the best-in-class team of medical strategists as an Associate Partner and Director of Medical and Scientific Affairs at CDM New York.
Even her household is smart: she’s married to one of the world’s foremost orthopedic surgeons and has more kids and chaos than you can count.
Ted Kossakowski
Founding Partner and Creative GuyDespite the obvious challenge of being raised on Staten Island, Ted went from graphic artist to Executive Creative Director and Associate Partner of one of the largest healthcare advertising agencies before starting one of his own.
Ted loves to build brands, change minds, and move markets through great ideas. He has led countless creative teams to produce award-winning work. Ted thrives on turning high science into simple stories, especially in specialty and tech.
When he’s not busy turning conventional thinking on its head with a creative visual approach, Ted lives in Montclair with his wife, two children, and dog, Oscar. Ted is a big fan of Major League Baseball’s renowned New York Yankees and the manager of fantasy baseball’s equally renowned New York MadKowskis.
Doug Tischler, MA
Founding Partner and Other Creative GuyA man of dubious tastes and diverse passions, Doug is quite possibly the only man who has memorized the words to both every major repertory opera and every movie by Mel Books.
After earning graduate degrees in areas with such real-world usefulness as literature, French, and classical civilization, Doug became a creative medical writer and found it to be the perfect marriage of his thirst for knowledge, nerdly love of data, and unique brand of creativity. He held leadership positions at several top healthcare agencies before joining his old partners in crime to start Broth. Doug has a penchant for pushing boundaries and an unnatural obsession with fungal diseases. Independently, Doug has also authored a number of articles, including two published in JAMA.
During the rare hours when Doug is not working, he can often be found at the opera, indulging his passion for life on the high C’s. Other pursuits include genealogy and traveling to exotic places with Gumby and Pokey.
